A very sweary game that celebrates the difficulty of farming and the joy of making beer.

Jeremy Clarkson makes beer on his barley farm. It's a tough job. Good news is, the beer is easy to drink.

To celebrate Britain's fastest growing beer we made a classic 32bit platformer. What started as an idea for a fun social post grew into a full playable game, accessible through instagram with the prize of free beer for those who made it to the end.


Every element of this game was created using AI, from the visuals, to the sound effects, the music to the animation and of course the might F bomb. I was hands on in the creation of everything.


The results of this project were very strong. Over 2 million organic social views, mentioned in 8 different news publications including Farming Life (a first for me), an estimated reach of over 21 million. Not only that the beer sold off the back of the game repaid the production costs in 2 weeks.

RNIB are on a mission to make gaming accessible for blind and partially sighted people.

According to their 2022 study 76% of gamers with sight loss say their condition effects their ability to play games whereas only 15% of game developers are making accessible games. RNIB have formed an accessible gaming panel called ' for every gamer Designed' and commissioned a white paper 'Dev Kit' which lays out best practices game development.

Our job was to raise awareness of this rallying call. Introducing Spectrum Shift, an accessible game which teaches game accessibility. Spectrum Shift follows an inventor and his trusty drone C.A.P.S. as they forced to fix a broken world to make it accessible for everyone again. Built in Godot with all the elements being created from scratch we has learned so much about building games, mainly it's not easy, which underlines why the Dev Kit is needed.

What's more, to boost awareness of the game we have commissioned figures of The Inventor and C.A.P.S. - finally I have become a toy maker.
